Resurrection Larry is named in homage to the legendary Chicagoland hitch-hiking spirit Resurrection Mary. Described in the Chicago Tribune as "Pink Floyd vs. Led Zeppelin in a bar fight on Mars", Resurrection Larry blends complex arrangements with memorable tunes and lyrics to please the most jaded rock fan. The band's philosophy is centered on the show which includes interacting with the crowd. Their performances are not about big egos or strutting (unless requested). Rocking Midwest Festivals and the best Chicago clubs since 2006, Resurrection Larry delivers powerful bass and percussion, throw-back lyrical vocals, gravel-crunching organ sounds and classic-soaring lead guitar.

Larry fans, a reminder that we'll be playing this Saturday, April 20th at QBar in Darien. We'll be shooting a four camera hi-definition video of the entire show, and we're expecting a big crowd. We'd love to have you there cheering, screaming, and otherwise having a great time. We will be playing with our friend Expired Empire, and best of all there's no cover charge. Larry will look a little different on 4/20 and going forward. We'd like to welcome Mike Dellert back to Larry fold on bass guitar. For those who have been around for a while, you'll remember Mike held down the bottom for Larry back in 2009, and you'll be seeing him at Q Bar on April 20th. Welcome back Mike! Kathleen is moving on, maybe helping Black Sabbath with the new record! :) We'll miss her great bass riffs, infectious personality on stage and studio presence, but never fear, we hope to see her at the occasional Larry show. We wish her all the best!
